Passengers carried by domestic airlines during Jan-September 2022 were 8.74 crore as against 5.31 crore during the corresponding period of previous year thereby registering annual growth of 64.61 per cent and monthly growth of 46.54 per cent. Around 1.04 crore domestic passengers travelled by air in September, which is slightly more the August numbers when 1.01 crore passengers travelled.
