The report titled ‘India Tourism Statistics 2022’ released by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, on World Tourism Day indicates a fall in the number of Foreign Tourist Arrivals (FTAs) in 2021 in comparison to the 2020 figures. However, the report further shows that there has been a continuous increase in domestic tourist visits especially in the past two years.
